I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly most of these seeds sprouted. With consistent watering and sunlight, the vines are flourishing, and Im already seeing little green fruits forming.
These passion fruit vines love to climb, so I set up a trellis and they covered it beautifully. The flowers are stunning, and the fruit tastes just like the ones Ive had abroad.
Growing passion fruit from seed has been so rewarding. I blend the pulp into my morning smoothies, and it adds such a tropical kick. Definitely a fun plant to grow if you enjoy experimenting in the kitchen.
Out of the 12 seeds I sowed, 10 germinated successfully, which is a great rate. The plants are hardy and seem to handle both sun and rain without issues. Looking forward to harvesting more fruit.
I planted these seeds outdoors in Florida, and they really took off. The vines grew fast along my fence, and the first batch of fruit tasted amazingsweet with just the right amount of tartness.
