I tried growing a few in large containers and they did amazingly well. The upright growth and broad leaves make them a real showstopper on my patio.
These cannas are seriously tall and full. They stand out among my other tropicals and give the garden an overgrown, lush feel I love. Just give them space and sun.
Almost every seed I started sprouted with a little bottom heat and humidity. The seedlings grew quickly into strong, tall plants with stunning leaves. Can’t wait for blooms!
I planted a few near my pond and they bring so much life to the space. They have that exotic look I was after, and they seem to handle heat and humidity really well.
These seeds took a bit to germinate, but once they did, the growth was vigorous. I love the height and structure—great as a back border or feature plant.
