I wasn’t expecting this much punch from such a small plant. It’s almost spicy in flavor, which works beautifully in pasta and marinades. Definitely growing more next season.
I’m not the most attentive gardener, but these seeds took off without much help. The plants are lush and healthy, with an intense basil flavor I now prefer over Genovese.
I grow several types of basil, but this one really stands out. The scent is stronger, and the leaves are slightly more textured. It’s been a hit in both cooking and teas.
I grew these on my apartment balcony in small pots, and they’ve been thriving. The plants are compact but full, and the leaves are super fragrant and flavorful.
These seeds sprouted quickly, and the basil has a deep, almost clove-like aroma. It’s become my favorite for adding a bit of kick to sauces and dressings.
