If you’re after traditional pumpkins that actually taste good, these are it. Not too big, sweet and smooth inside, and they store nicely in a cool garage for weeks.
I trained the vines along a fence to save space, and they still produced 6 good-sized pumpkins. This variety is ideal for home cooks who want real, sweet pumpkin flavor.
These pumpkins have firm flesh that doesn’t get watery when cooked. We made puree and stored some in the freezer—tasted just as good weeks later. Super dependable seed stock.
We planted these with our homeschool group and ended up with a bumper crop! The kids loved watching the vines grow and were thrilled to harvest their own little pumpkins.
These grew better than expected, even in my somewhat sandy soil. The pumpkins are just the right size for a couple of recipes each. So much flavor and very few stringy bits inside.
