Planted a few of these along a fence line and they’re already filling in nicely. No fuss at all and they really shine in the fall. Great natural look.
Just when most of the garden starts to fade, this plant kicks into gear with its bright berries. The contrast with the green leaves is amazing.
This was my first time trying beautyberry, and I’m impressed. The seedlings are sturdy and adaptable. I’m growing them along the edge of my yard and they’re thriving.
Birds absolutely love these berries! I’ve seen mockingbirds and cardinals feasting daily. Great addition if you’re trying to support local wildlife.
Even before the berries, the leaves and form of the plant are nice. The purple fruit clusters are a lovely surprise late in the season. I’m very happy with how it’s coming along.
