These collard plants really bounce back after cutting. I was able to harvest multiple times from the same plants over the season. Very hearty and nutrient-dense greens.
Tried these in raised beds with compost-rich soil and they grew fast and full. The flavor is bold, and the plants stood up to light pests without much issue. A great leafy green to have on hand.
I had nearly 100% germination and very little pest trouble. These collards are low-fuss and high-reward. I used them fresh, cooked, and even froze a batch for later.
These seeds produced large, healthy plants with deep green leaves. I picked them young for a milder taste and let some mature for a richer flavor. Super versatile for the kitchen.
Grew up eating collards, so I was thrilled with how well these turned out. Super flavorful and great when simmered slow with broth and a bit of smoked meat. Tastes like home.
