Lilacs are a longer-term project, but starting from seed was easier than I thought. I used a cold stratification method and most sprouted well. This year, I got my first blooms and they’re just gorgeous.
The first blooms opened this spring and they’re stunning. Such a beautiful variety of purples and lavenders. The fragrance fills the garden on warm mornings. Will absolutely order another pack for the front yard.
Every flower that bloomed had that classic lilac scent I was hoping for. These mixed seeds produced several shades and grew into healthy shrubs over the last couple seasons. Very pleased with this product.
I planted these along a fence and they created a dreamy, old-fashioned look. They grew well in my zone 6 garden with minimal care. Some flowers are pale and delicate, others are rich and bold—such a great combo.
These lilacs took some time to establish, but the wait was worth it. The blooms are gorgeous and attract all kinds of pollinators. I love that there are so many different tones in one mix—really makes a statement.
