These squash aren’t just for looks—the flavor is fantastic too. Roasted with olive oil and herbs, the flesh is sweet and rich. They add a fun twist to the garden and the kitchen.
I grew these primarily for seasonal decor, and they did not disappoint. The color combinations are gorgeous, and the turban shape makes them ideal for displays and market stands.
Nearly every seed I planted sprouted and took off strong. The vines spread far, but produced reliably. The squash are heavy and firm, with that whimsical turban cap on top.
These were one of the most fun squash varieties I’ve ever planted. Each one looked a little different, with colorful and quirky patterns. Great for cooking and even better for fall decorating.
I grew these for fall centerpieces, but ended up roasting one—and it was delicious! Slightly nutty and smooth in texture. They also stored really well through the season.
