They may not be flashy like ornamental alliums, but these are quietly beautiful. Soft-pink nodding blooms, edible leaves, and a strong upright habit—couldn’t ask for more from a native veggie!
These little guys are pollinator magnets! Bees and butterflies go nuts for them. The flowers are elegant and the plants are surprisingly hardy. Perfect for mixing in with edibles or perennials.
I added these to my herb spiral and they’ve been thriving. The flavor is soft and not overpowering, perfect for fresh garnishes. The blooms are also really charming when they appear in summer.
Every seed germinated, and the plants have a delicate, curved elegance to them. The pink blooms nod like little bells, and they fit right in with my cottage-style layout. Great companion plant.
These nodding onions are such a charming native addition. They blend beautifully in my pollinator bed and have a subtle chive-like taste that’s great in omelets. I’ll be planting more!
