I wasn’t sure what to expect but these really impressed me. They grew larger than I thought and the yield per plant was solid. The green outer skin turns a bit dusky as it matures, which is beautiful.
I got lots of comments from friends about how striking these pumpkins looked. They grew very evenly and had a great shape. The flesh was firm and flavorful, not watery at all.
These pumpkins pretty much took care of themselves once they were established. I loved the earthy sweetness and how well they held up in storage. Perfect for anyone looking for something beyond the usual varieties.
The pumpkins have a unique nutty taste and cook beautifully. I used them in stews and even tried baking one—it turned out amazing. Took a bit longer to mature, but worth the wait.
I tried these on a whim and now they’re a new favorite. The flavor is rich and creamy—great for curries and soups. Easy to grow in my zone 7 garden with decent watering. They handled pests better than expected.
